Re: The official 2017 TandT Who to Root for Thread
Would have been an excellent round if St Kilda hadn't fluffed their lines in the last 90 seconds
As it is Sydney & Melbourne both dropped games, and we won our 8 pointer
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Richmond losing 3 games to

I don't know why but I still don't rate Richmond, so could happen.

I hate rooting for North. A tiny little bit of my soul dies each time I do it.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Because it's Richmond!
Watching them revert to type while capitalising would certainly double our fun.

Patton out of the Giants' side with a hamstring means they're going in without him, Cameron & Greene vs Melbourne.
It hopefully also means he'll be proppy against us next week.
It's all coming together rather nicely.

While the 1st option of a GWS win allows us to close the gap on Melbourne, the other option is GWS to lose all remaining games and miss the 8 themselves.

Re: The official 2017 TandT Who to Root for Thread
Geelong looking pitiful is not good for us. Hopefully Adelaide beat Sydney in round 22 so we still pass them if we win out, but another Sydney loss would have allowed us to drop a game and still go past them. We need Geelong to beat GWS in R22 as well, hopefully they're a different side with Danger back

Geelong may also be under pressure. They could easily lose to Richmond next week with potential outs in Selwood and Duncan. They also have a poor record against Collingwood.
It is plausible for round 23 to be a must win for both Geelong and GWS just to make the 8.
Certainly an interesting season.

Right now I just want to get the points against Brisbane - anything else is a bonus.

Agree Sedat. It's stressful enough barracking for our own team
