Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
The lad is going to make his debut this week which is fantastic news. Testament to his work ethic, ability to follow advice and his talent.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
Seems a very level headed kid.
He only -played halves in the JLT so will be interested to see how he runs out the games. I think the little clip Bevo gave him during that short vid shows just how hard a trainer Bailey is.

Bevo said he will be a forward/mid at this stage.

Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
I am headed over so am pretty pumped that I will get to see him play his first game, but I still think giving him some VFL time seemed the sensible option. I hope he proves me wrong!

Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
Play him early, send him back to Footscray after 4 to 5 games to work on deficiencies and then bring him back in to develop more. If he gets 10 games this year its a success.

Was nice, though I wondered if it was Johnno comments in the media this week that we’re rge reason he didn’t present it.

Said Bevo's game plan is outdated. He based it on the JLT's. I was very disappointed in those comments.

Did he elaborate on why he thought the game plan was outdated? I'm not sure why we should be disappointed in his comments though as it's just an opinion. A win against the Swans might bury his comments

He did elaborate . I just think you cant assess a team based on two JLT games.
You are right win tomorrow and all the fickle people in the media will change their tune.

That's his job in the media though and based on what you wrote he did base it on the 2 JLT games and he provided some context to it rather than being a throw away line to just grab a headline
Hard to be too critical of him in my opinion. He will either be proven to be correct or wrong

Totally agree, I think what he said was fine.
Surely everyone who watched the JLT games must be worried bout our game plan (particularly the continued disfunction of our forward entries and forwardline).
I am hopeful it wasn’t indicative of the season we will have and am trying not to read much into it but if I was a journalist I would be voicing my concern.

Keen to see Bailey play on the fast deck at Marvel. Is that break away mid we have lacked.
