They should have.
I bet they could barely contain their laughter when we offered pick 19 for a classic eker that had manged 78 games in 8 years and whose body was so cooked that he retired after 11 games with us.
Of course the fact the Dockers wasted that pick on some nobody named David Mundy provides some comfort.

Mate of mine walked to the ground on Saturday w Lindsey Gilbee who made a comment about how much cap space the dogs have over the next 3 years. Surely it’s to lock bonti away for the next 90 years, but we have to be chasing a key back and another elite mid IMO.
I’d be over the moon w Cogs, probably he best of the free agents IMO

Re: Should we make a play for one of these players
Just looked at Ed Langdon's 2019 stats, averaging 28 disposals, 7.7 marks, 2 tackles & no goals. Comp wide:
Ranked 16th in Total Kicks
Ranked 11th in Total Marks
Ranked 8th in Total Uncontested Possessions
Ranked 16th in Total Effective Disposals
Ranked 10th in Total Metres Gained
Ranked 17th in Total Turnovers
Ranked 12th in Marks Per Game
Ranked 10th in Uncontested Possessions Per Game
Ranked 20th in Effective Disposals Per Game
Ranked 14th in Metres Gained Per Game
Ranked 20th in Turnovers Per Game
Those are very good numbers in isolation. But he doesn't hit the scoreboard and reads like players we have, like Hunter, a wingman who can run well, not tall, not big on tackles, can accumulate good numbers and doesn't kick goals or generate plenty of goal assists. I wonder why we are fishing here over other more obvious needs?

Re: Should we make a play for one of these players
His highlights seem to be a couple of good tackles against Brisbane and a run around the man on the mark for a goal. I looked him up earlier as well and I think he kicked 11 goals last year which is not bad for a mid in a low scoring team.
Honestly though I know very little about him

Yeah imagine the horror if that dud Mundy had played 300 games or kicked the winning goal against us or something?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

A classic Supercoach player - accumulates great numbers without actually hurting anybody

I know I know I know. I still wake up in a cold sweat now and then remembering that deal.

I bet you don't.
