You all want King? Fine but he is under contract.
If the Suns ask in return for Wallis and Libba, what's your call?
I hear you. I don't think we need King. We're young already, and need to add ready to dominate players.
And as a supporter, we're all quick to shun the Griffen's and Ward's when they up and move...but we're quite quick to proffer heart and soul guys like Wallis when it suits. And I know you're not doing that Dryrot; I'm just referencing it because it's a bugbear of mine.

Thanks, yes I am not promoting that trade.
But remember my posts, the Suns have to get experienced players in. More draft picks will just continue their cycle of shitfulness.

Which if correct makes it more perplexing that Dew moved Jarryd Lyons on last season given how comfortably he’s fitted into the Lions midfield.

The fact he has commanded a key place in every game this season for us, coupled with his point of difference skills in our midfield and rounded off by how obvious it is he plays with such passion for our club; I just can't see the rumour in any other light than wishful thinking from an entitled Hawks supporter base that just because he's what they need, they can get him.
He's as solid a 10 year plauer as I've seen from day 1.

And yet they're angling for a pointy end priority pick? Mixed signals from them; not sure they're fully settled on a coherent strategy for what they need to do going forward.
If they lose a couple this year, they may look again to go hard at the draft well (especially if they were to receive pick 1 & 2), as well as supplement with some targeted experienced players.

I think you got the wrong Smith and the wrong trade direction.
I posted about I Smith, first name Issac, coming to the Dogs.

Oops. Well that was a pointless rant ! I conflated some buzz I'd heard about Hawks wanting Bailey Smith, and misread your post, badly.

No probs.
Do you want I Smith at the Dogs?

Only if it cost us little. I'm not entirely convinced he adds a huge amount to our team, and at rising 31, is his skillset worth it? He's not been in amazing form.

Doubt Smith will cost much and rumour has it he has fallen out with Clarkson.
Another interesting rumour is that Hamling wants to return to Melbourne.

If Hamling is true surely he owes us something.

Re: Proactive Poaching
I'm cold on Hamling. Thank you for 2016, you were integral. We need a true KPD now, not another mid size defender.
