Wasn't sure if it's been posted but just saw it and thought I'd share as it made me chuckle.

Re: MRO Thread
The Tribunal chairman, David Jones, says Greene's past record is "totally irrelevant" in relation to this case.
WTF?
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

He's spot on, the past indiscretions have been dealt with
I suggest that Adrian Anderson has run rings around the AFL again

Disagree.
In a proper court, you look at the current offence only to establish guilt, then priors for the penalty.

The guilt is what has been challenged and the evidence isn't stronger that the previous week and isn't as clear cut as the Hawkins charge

A week late but it just shows the inconsistent way they deal with things

Brilliant news, you can only flaunt the rules for so long.

Yep ... incredible. Should have got two weeks minimum last week for a greater indiscretion, but gets one week this time. Who knows the inner workings of the tribunal

Re: MRO Thread
Disgraceful decision. Last week much worse, pleads guilty and gets a fine.
This week, it’s not even clear he did anything worth more than a free and they make it up as they go along and over-correct because of not suspending him last week.
The giants should absolutely appeal this nonsense.

He got a ridiculous Get Out of Jail card from the AFL system last week ****ing with Bont's head. Big mea culpa from Greene. Free to play the Lions.
So the following week he basically thumbs his nose at the AFL and its disciplinary system, and does it again.
Big test for the AFL. Dont think they will take that shit from Greene.
He will be rubbed out.
Dry Rot 1, Toby Greene 0.

Agree, how you can state the cases are assessed individually then agree with a week in this instance, and a fine the week prior in a much clearer and more serious case is beyond me. I'm in no way defending Greene; I'm scratching my head at this kangaroo court of a tribunal.

Spot on. And like you say, it’s not a defence of Greene. He pleaded guilty last week and they didn’t do their job so are trying to save face this week it seems. It’s not supposed to work that way. Completely unprofessional.
