He's apparently looking for playing opportunities more so than anything specific position wise

Seems he is keen to look for opportunities elsewhere
Where would you play him? Good talent but seems wrong fit from a needs perspective unless we sit him in the vfl to develop for a while.

Half Forward rotating into the midfield

Haven’t seen enough of him since under 18s to know whether he fits. He would need to add something different in being able to close space and apply pressure. From memory a good tackler but size and shape means he won’t cover the ground with the agility we probably need to add. Just my thoughts.

For conversation sake:
If Freo feel burned by pick 6 going...
St Kilda look like offering Pick 12, 2nd Rounder (2020), Blake Acres. Hill $900,000 on 6 years.
Western Bulldogs could offer Pick 13, 2nd Rounder (2019) in DVI points 50 & 52 for NGA Ryan, Acres level player. Similar contract.
Turf that hand grenade in?
Hill, Bruce & Keath.

Re: Proactive Poaching
Seeing a bit of media around that we are looking to have a crack at Zac Fisher from Carlton.

We'd want to get the Bruce deal done first otherwise the Saints would say *!*!*!*! you and hold him to his contract.
It is a nice scenario though
They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

He's a very nice little player. Quick and classy, bit on the small side but he'd be a good get.

Re: Proactive Poaching
Zac Fisher plays like a touch footy player. He’s all sideways movement and hip-shaking. Not really interested.

You need those too
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Appears Carlton shut down us down quickly about trading for Zac Clarke.

It's clear we have an idea of what we need though. Wonder who else we are targeting with similar attributes?

Brad Hill. I don't see Freo & St Kilda repairing the break down now. Two firsts and a third is overs too. Our first, two thirds and a player that covers the gap (McLean type) should be acceptable between two clubs with a recent solid trading relationship. Does them getting Garlick from our board count as anything in a trade?
Edit:
Offer Freo Pick 13, Pick 36*, dogs player - for - Brad Hill, 6 years on $700,000.
*DVI = Picks 51 & 53, which they'd use on NGA Liam Henry going first round.

What do Freo give back?
More of an In Bruges guy?

For Garlick? A mid tier sponsorship at a minimum.
