    Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

    So we lost from our list

    * Boyd
    * Picken
    * Morris

    and currently have Webb, Dickson & Roberts uncontracted. We need to take three open spots on our list into the draft so we'd end up using it but it'd be as a rookie upgrade probably

    Picking for needs, great selection!

    I have a feeling Sam will roll over on pick 13(not fussed) but he has done a great job since coming to the club.

    David King:

    AFL great David King has labelled the deal the Western Bulldogs brokered for St Kilda forward Josh Bruce as “an absolute bargain”.

    Watching this package of Bruce I'm quite encouraged not by his marking (we knew about that) but by his speed and tackling. I know everyone's highlights look amazing but if that's the kind of pressure and ground ball work he gives us going forward then I can see a forward half with the 3 towers working out.

    He brings much more than goal kicking and marking, he gives us that I don't want to be a sitting duck factor the grunt and muscle !!! He is very intimidating and just what our very young forwards need. Oh yes I'm very happy to say welcome Mr Bruce looking forward to you smashing packs for the next 4 years!!!

    I'm just glad Naughton and Bruce didn't have to like each other's instagram profiles for nothing.

    After last year, Bruce has restored my faith in random or otherwise social media activity.
