Our next two matches are Sydney, North.
AFL may have to rejig the fixture for the next two weeks

Problem is the odds are high it will happen again. Part of me thinks this season is pushing it up hill.

Well....at least we snuck last nights game in. Stewing over that saints loss for another 3 weeks would have been agonising

Why do we not simply deport McKenna

Why do we not simply deport Essendon. They’ve compromised yet another season and I’m sure all 17 other clubs would be happy to have a league without that stain of a club

Time to de-register Essendon.
They've damaged the integrity of the league with salary cap torts and doping scandals. Now they've put the health and safety of the competition at risk. A disgrace of a club. A filthy, diseased, cesspit of an organisation.
McKenna probably bit someone carrying the virus.

Did McKenna play last Sunday in Sydney?
More of an In Bruges guy?

He didn’t. But he was named for this weekends game and likely was around his teammates prior to last weeks game. So now sydney and north players at risk.

Re: Coronavirus: could the 2020 AFL season be called off?
Sounds like essendons game tomorrow is off. But with our next two games against Sydney and north you’d think the afl will have to rejig the fixture to give Sydney, north, Essendon and then a random team a bye for the next two rounds. What a mess. Thanks Essendon

Re: Coronavirus: could the 2020 AFL season be called off?
All EFC players tested Wednesday were negative. Tested again Friday all were negative except for McKenna, who delivered an irregular test and returned positive today.
The rest of the EFC will be tested again Tuesday in line with DHS/internal AFL advice.

Just play the game tomorrow.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

By the way apparently nothing to do with trip to Ireland. Has tested negative five times since then.
Questions to be answered:
1. Why did he train this morning with the group after an irregular test?
2. What happens about the postponed game?
3. How can you make a game like ours safe? What happens to this season if another player tests positive?

I think at the end of the press conference Gillon confirmed that he didn't train this morning after the irregular test.
