Everyone's circumstances are different of course but you'd imagine most footy WAGs are set up to handle it better than most.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Really?
As a soon to be father, I wouldn't see it as an easy clear cut decision.

Bevo said he was fine with it if some choose to opt out from going up for certain reasons.

Good luck mate and I agree. Just after the birth of either of my kids I wouldn't have been going anywhere. It's so much more than doing the washing and housework. I took my parenting seriously and that meant I we there for 100% of the ride, the good stuff (oh how cute, baby just said burlap) and the bad stuff (shit we have to get to hospital NOW or "it's 3am, I've just got to sleep can you do this feed?")
The club aren't going to be there for all of it.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Women used to give birth and be back in the fields that afternoon. With video links etc I would have thought there is no need to withhold your services unless there are complicating circumstances.
Ah the good 'ol days. My nan would have given birth in the field in the morning, slaughtered a beast in the afternoon and had dinner on the table at 6.
Leave the decision to the players and their partners/families.

Exactly how I feel about it too. Well said TD!

Thanks BAD, we're pretty excited! It's already been firmly established she will be a Dog's member, nobody has a say in it

Thats not my point. I have kids I understand but its bollocks (imo) because Bevo has already said if the family wants to go the club will accommodate.

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Re: So, we are off to the GC hub
In sharp contrast to the rest of Australia, Melbourne right now is a miserable, stressful, cold place almost completely devoid of positivity and hope in the community - I would imagine our players and officials will jump at the opportunity to get the hell out of here and enjoy the next few weeks in each other's company, in the sunshine and with a sense of normality, especially if families can travel with them.
