Re: Trade Dunkley
Let me ask a question ... did Essendon win this trade period again?

Re: Trade Dunkley
Josh Dunkley can get his midfield minutes at Footscray and play with Kyle there too.

Re: Trade Dunkley
Means we have $ to pay Bont, B Smith etc.
Sent a clear message to others we will not be a crèche for top players for bully clubs.
With Phillips deal going down late to Hawks for peanuts (pick 60 or so) as a salary dump for Pies I think that meant they could keep Treloar so glad we did not offer higher pick we might regret later.
Would have been nice to welcome Treloar to RWB but not to be. Let’s hope Garcia and Vandermeer can be our speedsters, along with Richards improving after a stagnant year. Plus JJ who could be moved further forward like he was late this year.
Shit-just read we have Treloar. Wowee!!!!

I reckon the last 2 years have shown Sammy can sit at the grownup table come trade time.
Next trade time I reckon I'm not going to go in thinking we're gonna get pantsed. He's earned some credits.

Re: Trade Dunkley
Apparently it's a complicated deal but pick 14 is gone for points and a 2nd rounder to Collingwood for Treloar
Thats as good as it gets

Re: Trade Dunkley
Future second rounder for Treloar, and split 14 for points. Sam you are the man.

Of course, it is stipulated in the AFL Commission charter

I'll just email this to Josh's media team.

We never fell out of love with Dunks - we questioned if we still loved him yes! We asked ourselves if we could get over him? We told each other we could cover him but he is a bull and our best footy of the past two years has been with that bull doing his best work - his 2019 was magic
