Agreed. Ruckmen need to give odds, like Elaine did in 'The Contest' on Seinfeld.

That's a really good point. We could award a belt like they do in boxing but rated by height instead of weight. There could be short, medium and tall arse divisions.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

The short award has to be called the Dale Kickett Award - the only player to play for five clubs.

Re: Ekers
Veteran Sam Reid has been axed but will be re-drafted next month.
Mumford will extend his career into a 13th season, retained as a rookie for 2021,

GVGjr had a Lindsay Gaze quote of his signature for a while - something like if your tall you have five years to impress me but if your not you have ten minutes.

Re: Ekers
Kamdyn McIntosh doesn't really qualify as an eker for the tigers, has played far too many games per season after a slow start and is a 2 time premiership player.
Ryan Garthwaite is a better candidate. 9 games across 4 seasons (0 in 2017 and 2020) and has won a fifth year on the list in 2021.

Re: Ekers
Who wants to scour each list and find Ekers in the following categories:
Sub 180cm
180-189cm
190-199cm
200cm+

Yep, something along the lines of if you're short you've got ten minutes to show me you can play, but if you're tall you've got five years to show me you can't.......
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

Thanks Rocco. Daniel sure was in it for the long haul. I found this link written when big Dan's career was nine years old

Re: Ekers
I'd like to acknowledge Sam Reid who was re-rookied again by GWS today.
Absolute eker royalty. His only competition are back-up ruckmen when if comes to fringe-player longevity in the game.
