Trengove had 11 kicked on him on the weekend up at Barooga.
The curse is dead.

Re: Following our ex's...................
Bad luck just follows Higgins. He's gone to Geelong just as their cliff has hit.
I thought Lachie Young was treated pretty harshly by North this week. Giving up about 60kgs and 1 metre to English in a drubbing, then gets dropped to medical sub status this week. I hope he gets games and keeps developing.

Young played one of the worst games I have ever seen. His confidence just seemed completely shot and it had nothing to do with his one on one defending.

It seemed like he'd forgotten he was on their side and not still on ours.
He's certainly a better prospect than what he showed and he'd still be a Dogs player if Norf didn't offer him more, but it was a howling performance nonetheless.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

I don’t know why but I watched most of the north/crows game and Young bounced back well.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Bob Murphy (along with Jarryd Roughead) will play a game for Inverloch-Kongwak v Tooradin-Dalmore this Saturday at Inverloch. Inverloch is coached by Bob's brother in-law and Roughead's brother plays in the side.

How's Bob rocking up and taking the number 1! Fair full forward line, hope C. McInnes is up to it!

Van Driel - didn't he play some VFL football?
Seems a few handy types running around in Gippsland. It's certainly been a fair old football factory over the years, and I'm not just talking about Warragul and Fish Creek

Not sure, but Adam Oxley (the full forward for Tooradin) played for Collingwood.

The actor William McInnes lived near me and he has a son called Clem. William loved footy (big bulldog supporter) and I always thought that Clem looked and moved like he could play the game a bit. C. McInnes just seems a helluva coincidence...
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

In yesterday’s 1 point win for Southport, Big time Billy Gowers kicked 5 goals and the last minute sealer was kicked by none other than Lucas Webb.

Back in the Blue Healers days I used to see him a fair bit at Willy games.

He once told me about a shot in Seachange where he and Sigrid Thornton got out of a car, walked through a door and then onto the beach. It took them three days to shoot it because the carpark, building and beach were in Geelong, Williamstown and Airys Inlet (I think) it was about 10 seconds onscreen.
They had to set up catering, lights and all the bells and whistles at each location.

Gowers kicked another 5 for Southport today, Roberts playing full back for Port Melbourne
