Freo are just one of those teams you’re not sure what you’re going to get. Someone like Crowden could kick 4. Our mids will have to be top notch and most importantly, Naughton needs to kick straight.
By a stroke of good fortune we had a main training session in the rain this week. That can't hurt.

We are fielding a team with just 3 players who we regard as pups so we shouldn't be able to use the young and inexperienced get out clause either. Fremantle aren't a bad side but I'm not reading anything other than some nerves about playing in the west as the area's of concerns.
We need to back the boys who have served us so well this season.
We never win in Perth and while this year's team has performed well so far, they haven't answered every challenge put before them so fans are justified in having doubts.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Am I the only one that hates the last game Sunday time slot ?
Anyway as usual no predictions, and happy just to take the four points.
I notice the articled on Mitch Wallis in today's Sun. Perhaps we need a Collingwood style petition to get him back in the side. :-)

For me it is just nerves.
We are a top two team, we have only lost two games. The stats show we have kicked the most goals, conceded the least goals, and ranked highest in most stats.
Let's turn it on Dogs, and show we are the real deal.

I hate it as well. I feel we don't have a great win record in this slot either. In saying that I feel we will win well today. Still nervous AF as usual

Some rain this afternoon in Perth, ground likely to be a bit slippery. Clear after the rain.

Taberner a late out for Freo, Blakely takes his place. Subs are Watson and West.

Taberner out surely helps our chances. Anyone know anything about Blakely?

Connor Blakely been around for a long time now. Sort of an all around mid/utility, struggles to keep his place in the regular 22 though.

He’s not a like for like, if that’s what you are wondering. He’s a 188cm midfielder.
Are we going in too tall in light of Taberner out and wet conditions?

Re: WB Game Day V Fremantle R12 2021
If they were making a change for the conditions then Taberner would not be the one to come out.

Taberner out is a bonus they look a bit directionless going forward at times without him.
