Must be getting sick of the media circus.

I really think these long term contracts can be a disincentive. Bont said as much when he signed for 4 which makes me like him even more (didn’t think it was possible).

Treloar will be getting paid by Collingwood next year but not Buckley - amazing turn of events

That’s four years Jimmy.
Four more years. Four more years. Four more years. Four more years. (US political rally chanting)

I still remember where I was sitting and saying to my mate, I wonder if he will run around him.

I make a point of watching it pretty much any time it pops up. There's many a wasted minute in a day, but this ain't one of them.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

Neither will Ned Guy.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Re: Collingwood and the Cap
I’d have thought Grundy, De Goey , Moore and Cox provide the most salary cap pressure.
Reading between the lines, Buckley probably had enough and may have put his footdown and asked for a rebuild. The board may have rejected the idea.
Its kinda sad, as I felt when he took over as head coach, it was a year too early. Malthouse could have gotten that list to another granny in 2013. The players really respected Malthouse, and you could see after the lost, that alot of them were very emotional.
No winners in this. It such a cruel industry. Lost a GF by an amazing kick in last min.
I can really see Collingwood offloading some of their players at end of the season. Alot can happen in 7 years.
I say bring back Malthouse!
Here are some of the pies salaries, thanks to bornadog for the link.

Re: Collingwood and the Cap
Dear Collingwood,
Greetings and salutations. Thanking you once more for paying $300,000 to facilitate Adam playing in our Grand Final. That was a very swell thing of you to do. We just wanted to give you our appreciation again and to let you know that in a financial sense, that you too have reached the 2021 Grand Final. If you would like us to vouch for you to these scallywags trying to take over your board citing “gross mismanagement” we would be happy to assist you as you so desire. Sam says to say howdy and he will see y’all real soon. With our deepest sympathies,
Western Bulldogs
