Always Right Match Committee Round 17 V Sydney At The SCG On Friday Night
Welcome to the Always Right Match Committee Thread. The Match Committee threads has been named after long time WOOF member Always Right who tragically passed away in March 2018.
If you were on the Western Bulldogs match committee what changes would you make after our Round 16 match against Brisbane for our Round 17 match against Sydney at The SCG on Friday Night.
For those new to these threads, please give a brief explanation for your changes ... this would add a lot of value to the discussion.

Get McComb and Tim O'Brien out for good. We'll work on the rest after the VFL game.

Out: McComb, Crozier, Sweet, Williams
In: Garcia, Cleary, English, Richards
If English and Richards not ready then Sweet and Williams stay in. Cannot see Bevo playing both Sweet and English. If he does then Schache dropped.

Not sure with the ins and outs yet but Garcia and McNeil might be in the mix. Perhaps Cordy as well.

Good choices. We badly need Bailey Smith and Duryea as well back in the team when available. Sweet has done a lot better than expected and we need him working in tandem with English. It would also allow English to play more time forward instead of Schache.

What do you see with McNeil?… He tackles ok when close to a player, but isn’t (super) quick and doesn’t get much of the ball.

In English Cleary
Out Crozier (cooked) Schache

Not a great deal but he's been the sub and around the mark for most of the season. A decent game with Footscray I think puts him back into the mix.

In. Richards and English
Out Krozier and Schacke
Gee we need Smith, Daniel, Bruce and Doc to be fit
BB.
Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

Lost in the generally listless and overly woke nature of our performance was Sweet having easily his best game ever. Schache on the other hand was just about the worst player on the ground.
In: English, Richards
Out: Crozier, Schache
Not at all convinced on Sweet in a role that will be predominantly forward but he’s at least earned a chance.
I might look for more outs after the VFL. Hunter’s game was pretty awful but can’t think of who would replace him.

I wouldn't drop Schache. He played well over the past few weeks and then had a down match.
In: English; Richards;
Out: McCombe, Crozier.
Means we're tall, but also much better.

Apart from English and Richards who will strengthen the side after watching half on the VFL game today I would like for McLean, Cleary and Garcia to be considered. Outs not sure at the moment.
