Would love to. Can't make it due to a clash with my son's finals basketball game. I could get reward points flights home but not to Perth. It would have cost nearly $3K to fly the family over one way (four of us). Perth is really hard to get to for just one night and expensive.

I looked at airline plus accommodation and expenses - could cost up to $2k - so I think I will stay home

I looked at flights to Launceston way too late ( 2 weeks before the game ) and it was 800 dollars minimum return.
I could hire a professional support crew, two tonnes of lard for warmth and a team of dolphin huskies to get me across the strait for less cash.

I looked from here, could get back for under $150, pity about the $1,200 I would have to spend getting down there (and my sister refused to shell out to meet me, despite Perth being basically halfway between us).
I'll keep my powder dry for a much bigger final (hopefully)!

Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

I am hoping Brisbane win tonight, but expect Richmond to win.

Agree, and I think Richmond could be a dark horse. Melb, Geel or Coll would not wanna face them at the MCG.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Brisbane look shaky already.
Hopefully another choke for Alistair Lynch to enjoy.
The curse is dead.

Payne’s kicking is brutally bad. He’d fit right in with us.
