I promise my thoughts partway through 2023 wouldn’t have done anyone any good.

My point is not his front ended contract but rather his total worth per year. Time will tell.

Hello. BAD's started talking to himself.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

So he has. That's a bit of a worry

Can't wait (or should that be weight?) until he starts debating himself over a players weight.

What's he on per year avg? Does anyone know? I mean 1.5m per is excessive but if that drops down significantly for the remainder it's not that terrible. They've got salary to burn now, burn it. Opens it up for years down the track.
Assuming his salary does nose dive after next season.
If not well done McKay, you're helping keep those pricks out of the finals.

Glad your back mate, as always look after number 1.

Or $71,851.23 per game (if he maintains his career average of 11.83 games per season). Nearly $18,000 per quarter/20 minutes plus time on.

Over $7k per disposal (career average of 10 per game), good work if you can get it.

That’s the Dodoro MO though , pay overs to get players across and then the fitness and development departments MO to make them even worse .
Bring back the biff

Overall is that excessive? If it were 850k per season is that overs for a player like him? Seems reasonable from my POV. The per year avg would drop significantly after season 1 to a total at which he is probably valued at.

It would have put him around the top 30 paid players in the league this year. He is a middling KPD who is often injured and wouldn't be in the top 150 players in the game. Only Moore, Sicily and McGovern would be on more as KPDs, Weitering around the same. The likes of Taylor, Barrass, Andrews, May, Lever all on less than that (not allowing for the salary cap increases).
He was overpaid so Essendon didn't have to trade for him, nobody thinks he's worth $850k.

Is it though? As no salary information is actually released we are all guessing.

Based on a list the HUN put out this year, I'm sure it's not 100% accurate and they estimate players salaries in 50-100k bands but it's the best we've got and I believe it would largely be around the mark. I think the media have a fair idea on contracts, it's certainly not just guessing.
