The wind is strong though so it might just be that.
the wind is literally blowing one way and it’s as strong as I’ve felt it at UVW, anyone kicking towards the hill is up shit creek

I think losing O'Donnell has really disrupted our defensive structures.
Any early reports on how serious his ankle might be, beyond out for the game?

I clocked it straight away. Didn’t look too bad and he came off without assistance but with ankles who honestly knows.

Really poor positioning by Gardner there. You could always see he'd be pushed under the ball. But where was some support to come over the top? That will need to be the feedback.

There's some more footage for our defensive coach. How the heck did they go coast to coast on that kick out? Our defense all out of position.

Harmes a certain starter, Coffield will be close.
West has been good. Baker and Poulter hardly sighted along with Williams who I wouldn't play.

Re: Western Bulldogs vs Hawthorn - Practice Game 23/02/24
Honestly, a practice match with a 6 goal breeze is not something that I’m going to judge our systems without the ball on. There just isn’t the pressure on the ball between the arcs that there is in the real stuff and getting 20m extra on every kick is a killer if that’s the case.
A lot of positives in this from our fringe guys. Harmes, McNeil, Coffield, West and Poulter have all been impressive.

In a real game I reckon the Hawks player actually tries to touch it

Coffield looks real good. Much bigger than I recall. He almost looks key position size (hear's BAD get his tape measure out!!)
