My post/ response to hujsh had nothing to do with you. I was just reinforcing my belief that measuring rucks quantitatively on tangible elements of their game is silly.

What about Scott Wynd winning a Brownlow and couldn?t kick?
I?m sure he got 3 votes on a day he didn?t register a kick.
I really don?t care if our ruck gets 0 possessions if we win the game. Minimum he has to do is nullify the opposition ruck.

In the year Wynd won the Brownlow he averaged 18 touches per game and six marks.
To give you an example. In a game he got two votes in 1992.
28 touches. 12 kicks. 16 handballs. 6 marks.

Bet you his intangibles were off the charts that game.

I think his intangibles were well supported and kept firmly in place in that game.

He was pretty good tonight. Won the points over Marshall at stoppages and wasn't a liability around the ground - Port would have taken that any day of the week.

Marshall was injured early and obviously hampered by it, but Sweet's follow up work was quite good.
Didn't offer a lot in terms of quality around the ground, but encouraging for him.

Good luck to Sullivan. Hope he plays well. I wonder what would have happened had we chosen Lachlan instead of McComb.

Probably the same as LS racks up 30+ touches a week and promoted to be an ineffective forward. Good luck to him at the reigning premiers.

Good point BDTragic. Would not have been given mid time with us.
