It's because he empowers them to say the quiet parts out loud.

He does - he's horrid. Yes it is me haha. Projecting my fear of Trump v 2.

I think the timing of KWW message was good.

Re: Kylie's Quarterly Report
If you've got an issue with KWW corporate speak then you really have an issue with the AFL industry as a whole.
Peter Gordon was part of a dying breed - Eddie, Kennett, Brayshaw - of presidents who would truly speak their mind. Kochie is the last one standing.
A quiet president who keeps the club thriving off field is a good president. I've been happy with the updates and what I've heard from her. We are not humming on field, and I am very ready for Bevo to go, but I am happy for them to make an objective rather than emotional decision.

Fair points. Also worth remembering that KWW isn't some usurper who came in and stole the club from Gordo but his hand picked successor. So to some extent if you have a problem with her and her style some blame has to go to Peter as well.

Bolded bit. Hear, hear. The first version of Gordon, post fightback heroics, alienating head office. Smorgo righted the ship. Gordon's second stint was mature and the Club prospered. I've heard that Watson-Wheeler is well regarded at Headquarters - something to do with quiet, behind the scenes work on Marvel naming rights.

How are you in crisis when you won the premiership the year before(2017).
We made finals in 19 and 20 too.
