Re: AFL Round 9
41-61 inside 50s
15-23 shots
So Carlton had 20 less inside 50s and 8 less scoring shots.
Blues efficient. Demons gave up some easy, soft goals.
Rarely see a team win that that type of differential.

you know what I really noticed about Melbourne, the 1% ers. The little taps here and there and continually pushing the ball forward, especially when you think it is going out. The effort by Viney to hit the ball back into play was tremendous. We need to learn from them

Sometimes feel the likes of Geelong and Melbourne don't miss against us, ever, and save all their wastage for other teams.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

Sad news about Cam McCarthy passing away.
The curse is dead.

Re: AFL Round 9
Power have started very quickly down at Sedat stadium.
25 points, I don’t think Geelong have had an inside 50.

Damn, Port kicked eight goals in the first quarter. We legit struggle to kick eight goals for the game down there.

Re: AFL Round 9
Is there a player that runs harder than Butters in the league? Where does he get his energy from he just doesn't tire that kid, runs both ways too.
Nice to see a team target a player as Port has with Stewart, I cant remember the last time we did.

Re: AFL Round 9
I really enjoyed that game of footy. I thought Rioli through a few undisciplined acts nearly cost the power the game.
Power played quick and fast in the first half and the second half was a tightly contested physical affair.

I worry every time I watch that he might get injured, key component in the 25 flag.

Just flipped to the other game and Freo has kicked 1 goal and they are into the 3rd quarter and Swans 9.0
Edit: make that 10.0
