A resilient effort through adversity with good contribution across the team, but again a story of missed opportunity.

Just disappointing he still sees himself as a Collingwood player.

Is that tongue in cheek or serious?

I don't think that is the case at all. I listen to him a bit.

Listen to his interview on Saturday morning on Crunch Time https://open.spotify.com/episode/1lC...9dcf7da2cb4e1b

He is great for our club on and off the field. Love his passion, authenticity and you can only admire his overall preparation and professionalism.

I'm declaring myself Adam's number one defender and supporter. If you want to have a go at him, you have to through me first. Ha.

It's extremely tongue in cheek because it seemed to be a recurrent theme among some here and in the footballing public at large that that was how he saw himself.

To me he's been bought in from the get go and is a Bulldogs man through and through. I'm sure he still loves the pies, and that's fine. But he's ours and plays his heart out for us.

He has never been AA or won a B and F. I would LOVE him to tick both of those off this year.

He's a Bulldog. Think the bromance ending is the making of his bulldogness.

Edit : 79 games for GWS, 94 for Pies, 70 for us.

He will end up with over a 100 for dogs fingers crossed and father / child rule applies.

Tuesday evenings around 8.00pm will be the cut off time to cast your votes after a game....then soon after the results will be up on this thread.

Round 12 - Western Bulldogs overcome a poor start to prevail against Collingwood

    Marmo

    4 – Marcus Bontempelli
    3 – Adam Treloar
    2 – Sam Darcy
    1 – Bailey Dale

    Comments

A brilliant finish after being shell shocked at the start. The team is starting to show some steel in their performance.
We had 29 WOOFers contribute votes, but this week was concentrated on 4 players.

Captain Magnificent, Marcus Bontempelli (114 of possible 116) led the way with a match winning performance. Midfield partner Adam Treloar (81) continued his brilliant form and is surely a serious contender for All Australian at this point in the season. Third position was Sam Darcy (40) making up for a difficult start with a superb effort. The minor prize went to Bailey Dale (37) also maintaining his brilliant run of form. The others were headed by Jack Macrae (6), Liam Jones (5), Lachie McNeill (4), Tim English (2) and Riley Garcia with a single vote.

    Leaderboard

    24 – Treloar, Bontempelli
    11 – Jones, Dale
    7 – Liberatore, Naughton
    6 – Richards, Darcy

Bontempelli rejoins the lead as Dale moves to a share of 3rd and Sam Darcy moves up.

Thanks Bulldog Joe you do a brilliant job with this!

Treloar wowee - I noticed he wasn't even mentioned in the AFL website AA half way side. Idiots!

Darcy on 6 is awesome. He's the best of the young brigade.
