The Moment: Rnd 10, 2024 vs GWS

The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in this afternoon's game against GWS.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or even one with greater significance outside of the actual games result.. the kind where you go, oh no, this is going to keep Jeemak posting til 4am the next 3 nights and see EasternWest reach some kinda of shit-posting nirvana state.

Ed navigating through traffic and hacking the ball forward to Harmes who then goaled was impressive and had a wow factor about it.

Very difficult to call this week. Will need to watch it again, but thinking some of the things the Baileys did in the third might feature.

Harmes goal in the 3rd. GWS had a good run of territory dominance for 5-10 mins just prior to this, and it was a crucial goal to start putting a gap between the 2 teams. Was a clinical finish as well.

Yeah I think this too. These are the moments we're usually on the end of when we're at our flakiest, and to see us take the wind out of another team's sails for a change was pleasing.

Yes, it was a goal kicked at the exactly the right time by J. Harmes.
I thought Naughton's effort, after a horrible miss, that resulted in ???? kicking a goal was fantastic.

I loved how Ward was trying not to laugh afterwards and Himmleberg had that dumb look on his face, like what just happened. I think he was even asking the umpire to help him understand.

We could barely buy a goal. To be bought one for us was important.

Sam Darcy's mark and goal just before half time was important. Just to get a little reward and seperation for what was a dominant first half display in general play.

When Harmes kicked his first, we seem to be getting right on top

The moment that has stuck with me is actually Laitham Vandermeer goal in the second quarter.

He showed actual forward craft and was thinking his way through the play.

He positioned himself perfectly half a meter or so from the mad pack scramble for what seemed an entirety but in reality, only a few seconds.

As the scrum moved sideways towards him, he actively took a step or two back to remain at the same distance always remaining parallel with the ball.

When the ball did pop out, he was ready and snapped truly on his right foot.

It was real maturity to think his way through it and realise he would not add any value by jumping into the pack.

I thought Darcy's goal before half time, to send us into the half time break slightly in front - but rewarded for effort, was pretty big.
