    This. Midfield is so much more important than a forward. He is by far the best Mid in the AFL

    If it extends Bont?s career and he still spends some time in middle I?m for it.

    Bont is 28 years old. Prime.

    The only way from Prime is down. If we look at Pendlebury, that is ideally where we want Bont to be. That will necessitate a move back or forward. For me we have to look at how we get another 5 to 8 years out of Bont and perm mid is not going to achieve that. Some of the hits he took last year were big. He really put his body on the line. It was like someone driving a Rolls Royce off-road.

    So if the journey for Bont starts with more forward line minutes this year that is a win for us.
