Lucky. He was blindsided and knocked him into next week.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Utter crap. What other option did he have but to take the contact?

I don't get this at all. At all.
Reid could have put his hands out and slowed the impact between them. Instead he tucked the shoulder and took him out.
I'm really surprised it's only two weeks.

Re: MRO Thread
Midfielders Bailey Smith and Tom Liberatore have been offered fines by the AFL Match Review Officer.
They were charged for engaging in a melee, in the fourth quarter of Friday’s win against North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium.
For Smith, it is a second offence, and for Liberatore a first offence.
A second offence for engaging in a melee is a $2,500 sanction, which can be reduced to $1,500 with an early guilty plea from Smith.
Liberatore can accept a $1,000 sanction with an early guilty plea, with a first offence for engaging in a melee worth $1,500.

Re: MRO Thread
I'm impressed that this is only a first offence for Libba.

My thoughts exactly, Libba’s always in the think of it and for it to only be a first offence amazes me.

what do you mean? Libba is just there on the spot, offering helpful suggestions to the opposition..it’s not his fault if they arc up at his well-meaning and tactful advice!
