It is interesting. I think in recent history the GF winner has coming from the prelim which was the closer one. Last year that is how it played out. This year both prelims were both not close this year although tonight's game for the 1st half was close.

Not from me.
I reckon Richmond are done. They've had two relatively soft kills as far as finals go. But next week the grown ups turn up to play them. Adelaide will be at them from the first bounce. There won't be any easy kicks, every Adelaide player will make it a point to sit at least 2 Richmond players on their arse each quarter, it's going to be brutal and I think Richmond will wilt first.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Credit where credit is due . Hardwick deserves high praise for turning what looked a basket case 12 months ago around .
Good recruiting and trading , although I think the Crows will win .
As for the plastics, they've got no depth. Added that they have to many rockstars and not enough roadies .
Questions need to be asked on the recruiting of Deledio, and allowing Steve Johnson one extra year.
We dodged a bullet with Deledio, as his Achilles issues still linger .

Who knows with a GF though two. GWS have gone backwards from 12 months ago . I think Geelong's ladder position is a bit of a false economy .

Re: 2017 AFL Finals
I was completely wrong in my half time assessment of Richmond. Well done Tigers. But I fear what might happen next week. Adelaide have been the best team this season and I fear the game will be one-sided and over by half time. I hope I'm wrong as Richmond supporters have been through a lot particularly in the last 10 years.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the plastics get smashed . Deledio has hit the karma bus. Johnson played his GF last game. Narveks recruit of the season completely towled Lobb. .where have the mosquito fleet been breeding ? They were every where today and chased hard. Loved seeing plastics fumble , get crunched and just choke . The afl will make up some bs fairy tale of the Long drought . For both teams
Loved Linggy comment , deledio has to offer something , his done Nothing !
Rioli just magic touches today

Not often I'm in agreeance with David King, but I reckon he maybe right on the GWS list, that it's in trouble .

Re: 2017 AFL Finals
Someone on this thread said that with Delidio and Johnson in they were playing two men short. How right they were.

I’d hit Ward with a monster offer. He’s contracted, but let him knock it back.

I'm in. Would love Ward back where he belongs.

I don't agree, they won the same number of games as Richmond, but also had one draw. 9 of their 15 wins have been at Adelaide oval and Tigers have won 9 H&A at MCG plus two big finals. Adelaide played three times at MCG beating Hawks in 2nd rd then drew with Pies and beat Carlton by 11 points. Hardly impressive
Richmond will have the home ground advantage and massive supporter base.

What were his reasons for this?
