The best marking forward for me is Kelvin Templeton. Grant was a freak as well all over the ground.
Sometimes players just seem to be able to judge it perfectly as a forward from day dot - Stringer being a perfect example. Just gets to the right position every single time.

    Re: 2015 Pre-Season

I just watched the latest training videos and I must say I'm looking forward to the season. Mind you I'm like this every season
I just have a feeling we will surprise a few teams this year.

Liam Jones problem is that he is a there're not a footballer, he lacks in game awareness and courage. He has a couple good positives being his appendix and jump, but if you don't know where the balls going its allways going to be hard

That's a new one. And we were stupid enough to let Boyd remove his.

Chris Grant didnt let not having an appendix affect his career. If anything he was a better player without it.

Have all the players' appendix removed I say!

Can we please keep this thread on track and discuss the Bulldogs 2015 pre-season only?

No worries Az. Problem is preseason has gone on a camp so there isn't any first person reports to debate. Aren't any, maybe.

    It'll be back next week.

Fair point. Club could've at least taken a few woofers along.

I'd have reluctantly put my affairs on hold for a week and a half and traipsed along.

Stringer & Boyd's kicking actions are notable - Stringer seems to be generating a lot of power in the leg now, while Boyd's action is so smooth for a 201cm player.

I hate the way they practise those kicks along the ground. Yes they can be used sometimes but they can also go horribly wrong.
