Here it is.
You still haven't said who goes out of the team, right now, if he was an in.
I read the post when you ruled a line through him and Ive ignored the subsequent flip flop
3 times I've previously asked you to name your best back 6 to justify why you think Wood shouldn't play tall and you've said you'll get back to me each time.
I'll get back to you on Tomlinson

Therefore you can't find a spot for Tomlinson.

Tomlinson would be an upgrade on Cordy down back.
Im sure we could squeeze him in up forward too.
The curse is dead.

Mitch Cleary and Cal Twomey have Tomlinson going to the Saints but that's just their thoughts.

They must be dangling a massive carrot , I reckon above 800k a year for a. Kpd. Saints will never win a premiership in his footy career so his chasing the money. They don’t have any midfield depth . Their young players haven’t really kicked on and their 3 big men longer, McCartney and pierce have concussion .
Carlisle is past it and probably Tomlison will be his replacement
GWS golden days are over , enjoy plastics bouncing as a middle of the run team in next few years.
Can we afford to pay him 700k a year , and a boosting our chance of at least getting into a GF if we can kick straight ...

Re: Proactive Poaching
I think we need to be careful we don’t waste too much of our cap space on Tomlinson just because he is a free agent. There is some damn good players starting to be talked about and if tied up too much with Tomlinson it might cost us with others.
As for Tomlinson himself he is serviceable at both ends of the ground and would be a asset but I don’t see him as being good enough to make a major impact. Talk of him playing on a “wing” is silly. If you have to consider that with your talls they are not playing that tall to begin with. End result is slightly less mobility on a wing and pushing someone else off it. The only exceptions are absolute freaks but if they are that good you would leave them forward or back anyway.

Re: Proactive Poaching
Tomlinson would be a great get - walks in and is clearly our best key defender. It also means we have less of the 'oh no, this opposition player over 193cn has kicked four, Naughton has to go back' pressure.
He's probably the player that seems gettable this year that I'm most keen on.

Media reported we see him more forward, but as much as I hate to admit it Tomlinson is an upgrade on Wood right now or will at least enable Wood to play his more natural intercepting role.

I don't think Tomlinson is a KP player, either forward or back.

Very solid. Has chosen when to spoil and when to mark really well. Reads the play and flight of the ball well. I'm impressed.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I'd be very surprised if Bombers let McDonald-Tipingwudi go. He's going to be in line for a big contract though.
