We need to make sure comments respect his family and friends. Lets leave the speculating to others

Terrible tragic news. I always have enjoyed Danny on TV and radio. The bloke wore his heart on his sleeve. So sad and I'm sure he'll be very sorely missed.
They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

Very sad news. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Massive shock.
Really liked him - such a terrible tragedy.

No one knows the full details so no point speculating.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

A few things , they keep mentioning he had had depression and after one story they put up the lifeline ph number.
I was actually born the same year as him and it shocks me badly.
Such a lovable guy a true football lover and larrikin.
Fox footy presenter struggling to hold back the tears, it’s just horrid to be honest.
Bring back the biff

Re: Danny Frawley ??
Later in life I liked he gave his voice to mental illness. But my enduring memory of Danny was his son like love for Teddy Whitten that last real State of Origin, in the rooms and either side of the lap of honour. If you didn’t know he wasn’t a Whitten, you’d think he was another son of Teddy’s.
From the spectrum of complete compassion & devotion for a loved sick man, to the dark times of mental illness. His time with us all was a lot more than just a footballer or simply a larrikin. There’s a lot of grey between the black & white (& red) he showed us.

"Single Car accident" tends to be code for someone running it off the road when it's a bloke of a certain age. It's much the same as musicians who die suddenly in the middle ages, it is usually either suicide or heart related problems relating from overuse of stimulants in their younger days.
I can still remember how St Kilda lifting for Danny's last game at Whitten oval in 1995. We were finals bound and they were coming to the end of another *meh* season finishing in third last spot but it was Spud's last game and there was nothing we could do as they touched us up by 8 goals
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
