I disagree with this Doc. I had the pleasure of meeting with Coons the day of our Elimination Final against the Eagles is 2016. He was over to do some guest speaking and raising funds for his daughter's charity. I spent an hour with him talking about our chances that night, and i have never heard someone speak with such passion for the Dogs and in particular Bevo.
I understand the need to seem unbiased in the media, but he was anything but when talking with me. I still believe his blood runs red, white and blue.

Yep, he’d be higher up the list than Hannam or Lonie that’s for sure. Good crumber, clever around goals.

You would suspect if they can offload most of Treloar's contract they will be able keep everyone else they want to. If they can't find a buyer someone like Mihocek could be shaken loose.

Will cost more accordingly though, something like our future second round pick? I suspect there is already another club in the box seat though.

Brown and Gold variety maybe? They'd be looking for a Puopolo replacement you'd think.

Problem is they will still be paying most of it or at least half and it’s still included in their salary cap.
Bring back the biff

This is a real move. Hope we have the picks to get it done.
Would definitely be keen.

Would this make us win trade week?

They won't pay most or even half though, why would they agree to that? The talk was paying $200k out of $800k. Obviously the $600k saving would help them retain other players.

We wouldn't be in the running with JUH coming to us and snagging Bruce last year. Freo were going hard for Mihocek a couple of weeks ago. I suspect the Treloar maneuvers are to try and retain de Goey & Mihocek, and with Daicos emerging (and signing a contract) Phillips will be traded regardless. He spent his last few games at Collingwood on the HFF but it's not his strength. He's a decent wingman, or nothing IMO.

Re: 2020 Player movement
So the Saints are the most likely destination for Higgins. They're trying to be Richmond with a million small forwards.....not sure that's a need for them with Butler, Gresham, Billings etc

Maybe they are looking at Gresham for 70-80% mid time.
