Random Bulldog memories, impressions or images that stick.
Some impressions or events stick.
Two for me are:
1. I was there: Dennis Banks taking a speccy, did well to hang on. Thing is it was so speccy because Pedro Foster gave him a mid air hip and shoulder that sent him sideways.
The hip and shoulder were far more speccy than the mark. I saw it.
2. I was there but I wish I could forget: Rod Grinter round arm assault on Terry Wallace. Violent and criminal, forget tribunal, bring in police.
Unfortunately I can't load the images.

Was there as well BIDs for those
Some more memories etched into my brain:
* Can't forget seeing Neil Sachse hit
* Cowboy Neil elbowing Boyd and copping permanent blindness
* Graeme Allen passing across the ground and Beasley marking and winning us the game - boy were Pies fans dirty that day.
* Essendon player breaking Barry Rounds leg in front of goals and a shower of bottles, cans being thrown at Essendon (can't remember Essendon player), It was a mongrel act.
That will do for now
Edit: Not Boyd, Boyle thanks GVGjr

Re: Random Bulldog memories, impressions or images that stick.
Tom Liberatore's dance when the siren went in the 2016 preliminary final.
The egg above Tony Liberatore's eye after his last game against Norf in 2002.
Scott Wynd convulsing in the middle of the ground after getting cleaned up by Justin Madden (think it was him) after a ruck contest at Prince's Park. Madden didn't bother going for the ball, just ran through the centre square and elbowed Wynd.
Brad Johnson kicking the ball in mid air from the boundary at Kardinia Park and it going through for a goal.
Garry Merrington (?) running down the ground and taking one too many bounces only for the ball to bounce back over his head into the lap of Peter Hudson who turned around and dobbed a goal off one step.
Bernie Quinlan taking a mark with his arms around the goalposts
Richard Osborne kicking a goal at the Geelong Rd end from alongside the visitors race. Chris Grant once told me it was the best goal he ever saw.
Terry Wheeler cleaning up Jezza with a hip and shoulder the year Jezza had taken over as captain coach of Carlton. We were 5 goals behind at the time (just before half time) Percy Jones stood in as coach and we won by 5 goals.
The bluecoat holding up the little league behind post after Peter Foster broke the proper one.
The look on the face of the bloke who was about to thump me in front of the scoreboard when my cousin Bear picked him up from behind and held him in midair before throwing him over his shoulder.
The sight of Bluey Hampshire's fist pumping the air as he disappeared down the race after we knocked off Hawthorn in a huge upset in 1982 at Whitten oval.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Wasn't it Galaxy Coleman who bowled over the goal post?

Manning a donation station as a 17 year old in 1989 for a week on Summerhill. Caught the train up every day from Geelong. Was a crazy time. Scored some awesome Save the Bulldogs memorabilia. Gary O'Donnell, Alan Ezard, Matthew Feeby and Gavin Crosisca were a few players who came past our station and donated.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Weird. Always thought that it was Foster. It seems like such a Foster thing to do.

I seem to have a mental image of Shane Loveless with a penchant for one handed marks wrestling near the gold square in the early 80s. Would love to find footage.

One I meant to post last night was Shane Loveless snatching Bruce Doull's headband and throwing it into the crowd on the Gordon Street side of the ground. Doull's eyes started spinning and he took a step towards Loveless who gave him a hard look and shaped up to him. It's the only time I ever saw Bruce Doull back down.

The Hyde Street band playing Sons of the Scray at half time and people pinging money at the blanket (I remember my dad getting hit in the head by a 20c piece ... I thought I was rich when I got to pocket it)
Doug Hawkins spoiling a mark right in front of me then running twenty metres to complete the mark with a slide in the mud. (circa early 80s)
Super singing American Pie in 1989.
Leigh Matthews having a smoke at three quarter time on the ground
Kelvin Templeton kicking 15 goals against St.Kilda ... 1978 I think.
