We obviosuly need to beat the Saints then Freo at Marvel. The critical games are Essendon at Marvel and the Crows at Mars. If we win these we are a big show. As for the other two games I don't think we can beat Brisbane but we might get close to GWS.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

We basically need two more wins than Essendon, Crows or GWS. 1 more win than port.
Cows have a pretty easy run, GWS should come good again.
I think it’s all about Stringles mob and Port for us.
I think we will need to win all but one of the Brisbane or GWS games.
My favourite scenario would be finishing 9th and Essendon or the crows being stripped of points for something.

Yeah saw that, but with low scoring, it will be difficult to make up the difference this weekend. AS Bevo said, we are effectively two games out of the 8.

This is a rooting thread, not a prediction thread. The likelihood of results are irrelevant, it's just what we hope to happen.
I will be rooting for the Crows to win 100 to 40 and for us to beat the Saints 100 to 40. If that happens our percentage will surpass Essendons. Simples!

If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

So we want Crows to beat Bombres this Fri. Suddenly games other than ours become interesting.

Tough run home. Let's root for all teams against the Giants. Starting with the Pies this week.

Crows last three games are against WC, Pies and us. Reckon if the Bombers beat them this weekend they have two more wins in them. Leaving them on 44. Dare i say it but surely we need to root for the Bombers (noting the Bombers play GC, Freo and Port in the run home).

Why not both? Considering our inferior (not likely to make it up) percentage I think the best result for us is actually a draw.
A draw is as good as a loss for both teams (for us).
*Edit: Also an 80’s style melee where haymakers are thrown and a dozen players get rubbed out for the rest of the season. **I am not in the business of wishing injuries on players.

Of course it's hard to know but courtesy of beating up on the Gold Coast twice Adelaide have a much better percentage than Essendon. If eighth place is decided by percentage we are a better chance of surpassing Essendon's than Adelaide's.

Yep think a draw would work in our favour. Let's root for the draw.
