The Jam were one of my bands growing up and Buckler was on the drums driving them. Unfortunately Paul Weller broke the band up before I got to see them. Buckler and bassist Bruce Foxton reformed them about 15 years ago and they toured here. Thankfully i got to see them in a sweaty basement of a Swanston St nightclub.
Although i haven't got any photos of the evening, it lingers long in my memory and i'll get some of my old records out on the weekend.
