Greetings, young Underdog mentioned to me today that previously some members of Woof have indulged in NFL fantasy football. I got into it last year while living in the US, and am keen to participate again - unfortunately the site I went in with last year went bankrupt (with the owner, a longstanding respected figure in the US ff community, absconding with all the money), which means I'm looking for now league/s to join.
So, does anyone here play in a league that has an opening or two? Or is anyone here interested in being part of a new league. I'm partial to the idea of a small entry fee to make things more interesting (eg $20-50 and there are now things like 'leaguesafe' which store money), but am happy to be part of free leagues as well.
If enough people are interested I'd be happy to set up a league myself - league sizes can vary from 8-10-12 teams, and I favour versions of what they call Points Per Reception (PPR) scoring systems that make wide receivers and tight ends as interesting as running backs...
