Anderson and Broad have turned in good first overs.

WTF was Warner thinking not reviewing that? It was obviously going down legside.

Let 'em. Then there can be no whinging when the retribution comes because if they think we have have forgotten the whole mint thing then they are sadly mistaken and their flaky team has to tour Australia. Mints being thrown onto the ground as batsmen are walking out to bat is a lot more effective than waving their sandpaper.

Bancroft still struggling around off stump. Played and missed at 4 or 5 as well.

Think we've missed a trick not playing Hazlewood here. It just feels like his kind of wicket and Siddle might be a bit toothless without a heap of seam from this wicket.

The ball to Warner was CLEARLY missing leg stump - the players should be shown a replay to decide whether to review a decision or not, or it should be taken out if the players hands completely - EVERY dismissal should be automatically reviewed (as every TD is in the NFL, every try in the NRL and every goal in the AFL).

Having said that, Warner should have been out 1st ball caught behind - the video review umpire should have the power to overturn the incompetent on field umpires when they make a mistake.

Aleem Dar really is an average umpire.

I had a quick look online when we were around 3/98 and thought 250 will be an OK first innings stand to give the bowlers something to bowl at. Smith has really given the finger to basically everyone - even those who didn't deserve it!

Now at 9/248 getting the best out of the pitch gives us some hope once the innings is wrapped up.
                            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I know it's all been said about Smith before, but he's such a special cricketer.

Hopefully the 12 months off just adds to his longevity.
