    Re: EPL 2022-2023 Season

Important win for Man Utd at Goodison Park against Everton 2-1. That was a good response from us after the drubbing we got from Man City in the derby last weekend.

Antony and Ronaldo score. Ronaldo scored his 700th club goal.

    Casemiro played well.

The Gunners doing very well BAD. Makes our win against Arsenal at Old Trafford look quite good.

I believe you still played pretty good that match. Do you reckon Arsenal can keep it up with Man City? Liverpool are floundering at the minute so seemingly look out of it and with Man Utd I think our aim is top 4 in the league.

City then daylight I reckon Easty.

Arsenal probably best of the rest at the moment.

                We'll this is interesting.

Just go ahead and play the game without the refs I reckon. Any really close decisions could be decided by a coin toss or a punch on between Marsch and Arteta or something.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Great goal from Saka, Leeds had lots of chances including a penalty (missed), but happy to get away with a win

Happy with a draw at Old Trafford.

Lucky Rashford missed with the last play but I’ll take the draw!

I followed it via The United Stand Channel with Mark Goldbridge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5peIDOW6Qk

Newcastle were the better team in the first half and could have gone 1-0 up. You guys certainly created the chances in the first half.

We were better in the second half and could have nicked it at the end via Rashford. Newcastle sat back more second half. A few penalty decisions that weren't given. Would have liked to have won that one with Spurs and Chelsea to come but a positive in that we kept a clean sheet. Certainly much more solid in defence.

In other games: Chelsea beat Aston Villa 2-0, Arsenal beat Leeds 1-0, huge win for Liverpool beating Man City 1-0 and Southampton and West Ham draw 1-1. Arsenal go 4 points clear at the top ahead of Man City in 2nd.

One of the weirdest games I've ever seen. With the VAR loss of communication, the players going off for 40 odd minutes after starting and stopping the game, Leeds throwing everything at us in the second half, the missed penalty and then the overturned penalty in time added on at the end of the game it was one out of the box!

I fully intended on watching the first 30 minutes and then going to bed but ended up watching from start to finish.

Lucky for Var, that was no penalty

Liverpool needed that win today. Haven’t been going well.

Good to see Wolves get up and out of the bottom three.

It’s been a rough season as a Wolves fan. Injuries, can’t score, sacked manager. Nothing fun to write about. Even our 2 wins have only happened due to saved pens in each game. Better on paper than 4-5 teams but on the field we’re a mess.

Certainly hasn’t been a great start. Will be interesting to see whom they appoint as the new Manager (Nuno and Beale favourites- Beale doing a great job at QPR - currently sitting 4th and playing good football).
