Got away with one after Bournemouth opened with a goal in the first 20 seconds and then followed up with another. Facing 2 nil down the boys rallied and the winner put away at the 97 minute mark. Gunners 3-2

Not sure why Bournemouth are bottom, they played well.

Well my hope for the saints to stay up took a big step. Selles seems to be a popular manager with the players and the supporters.
Hopefully he can bring the team mentality back strong enough to avoid relegation . Hate to see JWP in other colours .legend of the club.

Woke up this morning and checked the score and was shocked particularly with how well we have gone this season winning the Carabao Cup last week.

Can never underestimate Liverpool who look to be charging towards the top 4 now.

A 7-0 defeat is unacceptable. We will have a lot of soul searching to do.

Woke up this morning and checked the score and was shocked particularly with how well we have gone this season winning the Carabao Cup last week.

Can never underestimate Liverpool who look to be charging towards the top 4 now.

A 7-0 defeat is unacceptable. We will have a lot of soul searching to do.

That kind of a loss was coming. The high of the Barcelona and cup wins was always going to lead to a lull. I thought it'd come in the FA cup fixture against West Ham. But alas it came against a much stronger team.

Still I wasn't expecting a 7-0 drubbing. Most of which came in one half.

We can't let this game undo what's so far been a terrific season. It's a reality check no doubt. We've had an incredibly full on fixture with nearly 3 games a week and it's starting to highlight how poor our depth is. It's not where it needs to be to challenge for the premiership.

Our focus needs to be securing top 4 and then hit the transfer market strongly once more. Finishing out of the top 4 would be a disaster.

We play Tottenham and Newcastle once more. Those game will be critical to top 4....assuming we don't capitulate from this.

To be honest, with the form United have been in, i would have taken a draw before the match. Just one of those days.
Hopefully it gives us a bit of momentum in what's been an ordinary season.
