    Re: EPL 2022-2023 Season

    Some big results this morning.

Nottingham Forrest help their cause in the relegation fight with an important 3-1 over Brighton.

Cheslea woes continue losing 2-0 at home to Brentford

Liverpool continue their good recent form the last few weeks beating West Ham 2-1.

Man City make a big statement and now look to be in pole position in the title race beating Arsenal 4-1.

Big OOF! week for the Gunners.

Sheffield United confirmed coming back up to the Prem with Burnley.
Sunderland have snuck into 6th place in the Championship with 2 games left. Could they get into the playoffs? Few interesting teams in the mix there.

Sunderland have to come back for the Tyne-Wear Derby. Boring without it.

A lot of the same teams seem to be yo-yoing.

            Re: EPL 2022-2023 Season

Expected the loss this morning, especially with the squad City have. We really stuffed up with the previous three matches all ending in draws.

If we end up second for the season, then it has been a good year.

It's hard to compete with a cashed-up, reigning premiership City side that went and added Haaland.

Great to see Sheffield utd back up. Sheffield is too big of a traditional football city not to have a club in the top flight. Luton and Middlesborough are locked in to the playoffs with 2 games remaining. Final 2 spots up for grabs between 7 or 8 clubs. Love this time of year in the championship.

Disagree Sheffield is a shit hole and they deserve forever relegation.

We draw 2-2 with Spurs this morning. Disappointing we let a 2 goal lead slip. Still in the top 4 with 60 points in 4th spot and games in hand.

Newcastle win big again away at Everton who slide into deeper trouble and Bournemouth might have just sunk Southampton winning 1-0.

Yep there can certainly be those results for sure. Everything to play for.

4 wins secures top 4 easty. Liverpool are not dead yet. Hopefully we beat Villa and Liverpool and spurs draw. We're not making it easy for ourselves.

Super interested to see how Sheffield and Burnley go next year.

I'm a Norwich fan and this is the weakest Championship I can remember (we haven't won in our last 9, are terrible and STILL haven't been far away from a play-off spot). Burnley have been the outstanding side, but they play a very expansive, possession-heavy style. Norwich walked the Championship playing the same way under Farke and got blasted in the Prem. Very keen to see how Kompany goes about it next year.

I like Middlesbrough to go up and to make a good fist of it too. Carrick is tactically flexible and think he'll adapt that squad to be effective on the break. Also means another Aussie in the Prem with Riley McGree!

What a great year to be a NUFC supporter, the quintessential climb up the table story/ march into European contention for the first time in twenty years.

                                What's next?

I can't see Spurs passing us, but I can see MU doing so (I'll find you Easty if they do). What do we do with our front half that is firing given we went through substantial moments this season without being able to finish?

The climb is the best part of kind of thinking you're going to be good. If we do get into Europe then our squad will be slammed, we'll have to change the mix that is only coming together now from a scoring point of view. One or two injuries in defence will be hard to cover. Forgotten players will be getting Premier League games.

We're a genuine 3-6 club right now. Without spending we can't match it with the two leaders and possibly those coming up the table. Lucky we have some cash.
                                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
