For the rest of us they probably should almost meet in the final..... 'El clasico' on a bigger stage (like it needs one) would be pretty good viewing.

Nice first up win away win for Chelsea 1-0. We are going to be hard to beat at the Bridge.

Any chance they can spend some coin on the surface at the San Siro?.... Made for an ordinary game.

Why would they bother when it stops passing sides (like Barca) from playing their natural game while it totally suits their pretty limited counter-attacking game, with long-balls down the flanks for super-athletic but limited players (like Boateng) or super quick players like Robinho to exploit?

The scary part for Milan is that they will be far more exposed on a much bigger pitch at the Nou Camp (and a much better passing surface) next week. They won't see the ball! (But they can still win with a bit of luck and sneaking an away goal...)

They played there alright in the group stages(2 all draw), so you would think they will go into this game very confident and all pressure now on Barca.

Obviously I am praying for a Milan victory, but Barca should be to good.

                    Barca and BM through.

Feel a bit sorry for Milan(you need luck to beat Barca but it all went the other way), according to my Italian friend it's always hard to beat 12 men.

                    Now c'mon Chelsea.

Sorry I just saw this, but how can Milan docter a pitch they share with another club that hates more than anyone and wants them to lose?

I was just talking out of my arse.

ps. But it really is in Inter and AC's interest to have crappy pitches, the way they play. Inter probably more than AC.

I don't blame them. I'm no AC fan but maybe their are claims for the first penalty. The second was rubbish.

                            Semi finals

FC Bayern München v Real Madrid CF: 17 & 25 April

                            Chelsea FC v FC Barcelona: 18 & 24 April

Wasted a lot of chances, but hey we're through and you never know what can happen.

As long as we don't get Tom Henning Ovrebo as ref.

As my son is a pretty big Barca fan i've seen a far few 'el classicos' and are over them(bit too much theatre for me). I would rather see if Bayern could knock off Barca in a one off at home if the Blues aren't to make it.
