His first century and his only score over 50 that wasn't a century were in his first 2 test matches.

I'm not sure why he has been selected.
The truth of his career said like this is damning. Hughes, Khawaja, North etc we're dropped and not spoon fed opportunities like Marsh. I find myself frustrated at the double standards with current selection. Wade would be better than Marsh.

Voges must be wondering what he needs to do as well

Smith continuing his incredible form, he has just passed 500 runs in the series.

Back to back centuries from debut as skipper. This could be historic, or I hope it is.

At a current average of just over 500 I think. He's only been out once, hasn't he?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

In Brisbane out for 133 and run out in 2nd innings for 28. In Adelaide not out 162 and 52

3 wickets in hand. How good would it be to make 500. I reckon if we make over 450 that is very good.

We should be declaring now or some time very soon. 450 plus is a great position.

Depends how you look at it. If you consider how our tail has performed with the bat, I think that's a fair counter to your argument.

I wouldn't even be thinking about it. Run rate 6.00 in the last 10 overs, don't let them off the hook
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

No argument that the tail end batsman have performed sensationally well with the bat.
I guess when I look at what Johnson and Lyon have done with the ball and Warner and Smith with the bat and yet we nearly lost the last test it just doesn't bode well from an all over team performance perspective.

Just listening to the radio, Smith 5 centuries this year and Watson 4 for his test career
