My faith in Bevo was shaken pretty bad when we lost to Hawthorn last year round 8 - if we had sacked him the next morning I wouldn't have been too disappointed.
He earned my favour back the rest of last year... but after last night he's lost a lot of it.
I won't climb on the 'sack Bevo' train again just yet, but I'm sure as hell getting the directions to the station.

I do read comments like this from time-to-time so I have to ask is there a perception that Bont has question marks if Bevo is the right man?

Twice this year I have heard McRae say Bont will look good in black and white. Tells me they have tried to entice him over.

I don't believe so.

I just want them both to sign so there is no talk anymore.

In a week or so there is a club event celebrating Libba and Bont - I am hoping Bont signs by then and at minimum announces it then.

I can't imagine there is tension. If there was I can't imagine the club extending Bevo.

Remember how awesome everything was when Beveridge didn't have a contract? Perhaps we just go back to that until the end of the year...........or at least wait until we've proved we're focused again in a month's time or otherwise.
