Reckon there will be a fair smattering of neutrals. Both sides good to watch & a lot at stake for both sides.

I think Crows supporters will also make the trip - they usually do.

If it's not us this year, and outside of the boring prediction of Collingwood, I've had Adelaide as my pick for the flag since about May. So this game for me is the test of the season - if we're worthy of the top 4 hype, this is when we have to prove it. Expecting a cracking game.

Shame we couldn't have it at Ballarat, the games there are always my favourite parts of the season.

It's a fair excuse for people who play or whose kids play (although I am not sure if your kids comps break for school holidays).

I will be there- the move from Ballarat worked in my favour.

Assuming everyone else performs near their expected role, and so do the crows, it is our best 6 Vs their best 6 that will decide the outcome.
Darcy will not be outmarked, another big performance from Naughton might be the key.
Naughton running into some form buoys me somewhat. If we get the best versions of three of our four midfielders in Kennedy, Libba, Bont and Richards and everyone else contributes to par I think we have their measure.

I disagree - it'll be the 1st and only Marvel home game I'll miss all year as I work almost every Saturday or Sunday, and I know plenty of others that have local footy commitments so will also miss the game.

It should have been played Thursday night instead of the tragic Carlton trainwreck v Brisbane or Saturday night instead of the MCG minnow clash.

As fanatical and feral Adelaide supporters are portrayed, that final in 2015, The Banker and me were next to a big bunch of Crows. We didn't talk until three quarter time when they said, you've got this won. I mentioned the fat lady...

Crows are good and it sucks.

Im not convinced we’ll get a game that looks like what’s been described, albeit I have no science to back that up.

They’ve got some capability outside of the contest and speed, skill which could challenge us. While the numbers support their contested game, our different looks and depth in this area must shape the game.

We also need to work hard to limit their effectiveness in the forward half and hope that a combination of Lobb/JOD can get our intercept game going. We need improved games from Dale and JJ. We will likely need Williams and Fridge to spend time in the back half to give us some intercept ability also.

our front half game should serve us well if we can get the contested and intercept/turnover game
in our favour for long enough.

                    Should be a cracking game.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Is this a real "roll the dice" game?

Sure they're amazing in the forward line - but Bramble just came off a 28 disposal game and Dale is as good as any rebounding defender in the competition.

We play pretty aggressive in defense as it is. If we can make them defend us and cop the occasional easy goal over the back, they won't want that.

Kennedy/Libba to go head to head with Dawson and try keep him on the inside (rather than receiving the ball to kick) and West sticks to Hinge.

For mine, this game will be won in a battle of their FWDS vs our BACKS.

we looked shaky when Larkey was getting on top. Our backs were too high, allowing big open space for Larkey to get one on with with JOD or Lobb. If this happens against Adel, we won’t be able to hold their fwds.

I can’t see any of our back curtailing Rankine. The thought of any of Bramble, Coffield or Duryea scares the living shit out of me. He will destroy them.

we HAVE to play another key back.

and we certainly can’t have a player like Keays kicking 3-4 goals which he has a knack to do. I’d play Williams as his shadow.

to win, we have to stop Adel kicking 14 goals.

walker, Fogarty, thilthorpe, Rankine and Keays all have the ABILITY to kick 5 in a game.

if their mids can get the ball down there I just don’t see how our Achilles heel can stop them.

darcy/Naughton will have to kick 8 between them to keep us in the game.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Crows suck, no midfield massive down hill skiers.

For all the talk about us not having beaten anyone of any significance yet Adelaide are in the same boat. This game is the proverbial 8 pointer and possibly dictate whether we finish top 4 or just sneak in. Must win the midfield battle and give our forwards first look rather than put our back end under the pump.

I want to see a stingy defence. I want the crows kept to under 10 goals. We need to tighten our backline to win a flag.
