Tokyo Bulldogs: Who will win Gold?

The Olympics are just around the corner and I think the 2021 Premiership won't be enough for such a talented group at Whitten Oval. Lets send a few to Tokyo to bring back GOLD for Footscray. You may wish to resurrect a few Scraggers, or dig into the history books to increase our chances.

First we have TEAM SPORTS. Clearly, we'll send the whole squad and win a number of these competitions. Any that you'd back us in for certain gold?
    • Rugby 7s
    • Water Polo
    • Soccer
    • Hockey
    • Baseball
    • Softball
    • Basketball
    • Handball
    • Volleyball

Then it is time for individuals to shine, with some of the newer, more ludicrous entries to the Olympic schedule cherry ripe for Bevo and a few of our younger blokes:
    • Artistic swimming
    • Diving
    • Water polo
    • Archery
    • Badminton
    • Boxing
    • Canoeing
    • Cycling
    • Equestrian
    • Fencing
    • Golf
    • Gymnastics
    • Judo
    • Karate
    • Rowing
    • Sailing
    • Shooting
    • Skateboarding
    • Rock-climbing
    • Surfing
    • Table Tennis
    • Tennis
    • Tae Kwan Do
    • Tennis
    • Triathlon
    • Weightlifting
    • Wrestling

I'm going to give you license here to specify an event within these disciplines:

    • Track
    • Field
    • Swimming

Danny Southern for the wrestling - once he gets his opponent in the sleeper hold it's lights out!

I don't think we'll enter anyone in the diving, as Rance, Selwood and Grimes will take home the medals.

Lachie Hunter and Tobias Mclean might make the final, but outside chance to medal.

Didn't Barry break the club bench press records when he came to the club? If so he can quadruple up in the weightlifting, shot put and hammer throw.
