Interesting that Quaynor got a perfect score in the goalkicking test. Watched the clip of him during the field kicking test and well, he had a lot of improvement to do.

I find it ridiculous that they only have five shots in total. Is it five shots from the same spot or one shot from a variety of angles/distances? Either way I think that sample space is too small to be valid.

It's one shot from 5 different spots. 2 x set shots from 35m out in the pocket, 2 x snaps from 20m out in front of goal (1 off each foot) and a running shot from 40m out, directly in front.. Whole test needs to be done in a little over a minute. Also, completely agree that if we're trying to judge anything from these tests, you need to at least repeat the exercise 3 times.

Rhylee West interviewed by the media - hasn't had much contact from the Bulldogs, not sure what they will do.

Cal Twomey expects a bid to come in the 15-25 range for West.

I noticed with the West interview that he seemed to want to say he was hoping to be taken by the Dogs but then realised he needs to sound as neutral as possible and went with the standard just hoping to be drafted anywhere line.

Or. Use the tests as a one off, high pressure trial that helps confirm the things you have been watching on field all year.

The goal kicking test is excellent. The kicking test and clean hands test are good ideas but...

Strange to see Rankine finish fourth in the standing vertical jump but not in the leading pack in the running vertical jump. He and Khamis about the only two on the standing leaders list not to feature. Did they fall over?

Rozee didn’t get the Woof memo to stay under the radar, did he? First the SANFL finals efforts and now the combine. Should we keep our pick I don’t think he will still be around.

It was actually an underrated part of his game, I saw a game against Fitzroy where his athleticism helped him jump high and intercept a handball that was supposed to go well over his head. Fitzroy were rallying late in the game and the intercept by West snuffed out their run.

He wasn't a quick runner but I think he was a decent athlete.
