I'd like to see Roughy clunk that mark, i know he got a slight chop to the arm but that free won't get paid 8 times out of 10.

Barlow rucking while Roughead up forward, doing pretty well.

It isn't as if they are overstocked with tall targets. High standard game - perfect day.
Cordy, Grant, and Minson all being rested.

When Reid missed the goal (which he should have kicked) Tutt had the chance to get the ball deep in the previous phase...took the easier option which allowed the inside 50 targets to be closed down by their opponents.

Any chance of a 1/4 time summary?

              And Panos is playing back.

Just been a lot of hand-wringing about Panos and Talia playing 2's...given Barlow is rucking (and more utility than tall) and Grant has spent most of the year playing AFL, you would think if they were good enough they would be playing.

Do you think they have been instructed to run the ball in and hit up short targets though? Seeing as there is no tall forward option down there except when Roughhead is resting.

He's played in defence most of the year, hasn't played forward much at all, especially when Lake was up forward and Roughead was playing second ruck to Minson.

                  Talia?

Ves shows his footy smarts and talent by finding Barlow inside for a great coast to coast goal!

Hopefully he can get his fitness up next year.

Claremont better side in general play - Willi mess around with the ball too much - too many extra handballs. Willi had only 6 inside 50's but scored on 50% of those.

                        Bulldogs players:

Tutt going ok, Barlow has done a bit, DJ, Reid and Hooper very quiet, Hill unsighted...who else? Roughead OK in the ruck and kicked a goal...Ves looked dangerous without being dangerous.

As I type, another TO goal by Willi...Claremont's inability to convert i50's to scores is starting to hurt them. Jones has been insipid and needs to be taken off.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I would've like to see him burn off his opponent to kick the goal himself but he just doesn't have the burst speed.

Great snap from Howard, set up by a good run and kick from Schofield across half forward.

Howard playing a great game so far, using the ball very well and just kicks a nice goal.
