Martin and Hogan will be for sure.

I've been keen on Hogan, but geez Martin is pretty awesome. One of them would certainly be great.
I've seen Martin (last year) mention in an article that he's not too keen on moving away from WA. Perhaps mjp can shed some light on this. Is this a problem?

Billings was super impressive, as was Nathan Wright.
Young Membrey looked a lively type.I couldn't get over how polished those underage kids were!
I really liked Ben Kennedy, but Toumpas just screams class.
Very hard to gage which forwards will make it, as they looked so much bigger than their opponents.Thought the SA team were extremely slick and impressive.

my essendon mate keeps going on about how great he is but i haven't seen him play yet. is it because he is so tall or is he just that good?

Watched him yesterday and in short yes. Literally clunked everything, doesn't move like a ruckman and can kick the ball. Gun in the making!

I think all of the ais academy lads spent a week at an afl team as part of the programme

That's what I thought. They've got Renouf and we've got ten rucks, young Stewart as well.
Renouf is pretty average IMHO.

The real gems of this years crop are the likely mini draft participants. The likes of Martin, Hogan and Billings are very exciting prospects.
