    PLAYS LIKE
Think Nathan Brown when he was in his prime for the Western Bulldogs and Richmond. Billings is of a similar shape and prowess, and likes to snap goals, push into the midfield, and light games up. Port Adelaide drafted Chad Wingard as a half-forward two years ago at pick No.6 and Billings is equally as strong overhead when the ball is up for grabs.
I've actually made that comparison as well but originally Brown was used as a defender.
Due to niggling injuries I don't think Billings has been as impressive this year as last.

No problems if we get him.

Going by the read he has a bit of grit as they stated he can play through pain. Issues with knees are never good though. But he has some talent.

North, Dogs interest in 'fearless' Bushranger with big upside
KAYNE Turner is shaping as a draft surprise with the Murray Bushrangers midfielder attracting the interest of AFL clubs.

Turner, who played just nine games for the TAC Cup side this season, has been interviewed by North Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs and is believed to be in draft calculations of both recruiting teams
While Turner won't figure for the Bulldogs first selection, the club also holds pick 42 and has said it may activate selection 60 at Thursday's NAB AFL Draft if the right player is still available.

So Goodes isn't guaranteed as upgrade.

Pick 84 has been set aside for the Goodes upgrade. Looks like we will decide during the draft whether we use pick 60 or not depending on who is still available.

SEN has posted a phantom draft through to pick 90:

Also chap interviewed on SEN re draft said some possible later draft smokies are (North & Dogs interested in Turner, I think he said Dogs possibly thinking of at least 1 of the other 2 as well with our later picks):
                  James Linton
                  Nick Robertson
Kayne Turner (article on AFL website, also listed in another post http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-11-2...draft-surprise)

And already on another post, however here is link to more bontempelli video footage (I'm now officially excited):
Dalrymple has done pretty well in the rookie draft too, with Dahlhaus a gun, Campbell looking solid and Jong showing signs outside of time spent on the sidelines. Dickson (and perhaps Campbell) may have been given a go because of the Bombers affiliation but perhaps he deserves some credit for...
                  Josie :)

                  Our day will come
                  And we'll have everything.
                  We'll share the joy
                  Just like '54 again.

James Aish (Norwood) an early pick for #1 draft. Already a league premiership player, all Australian u18. Still a bit slight but hasn't bothered him in SANFL this year nor last year (debut at 16, youngest ever for Norwood)

Nephew of ex SANFL star Michael Aish. Will end up as a key on baller or attacking winger/forward defender.

Hopefully the dogs don't have number one pick next year!

Another one I am really looking forward to watching in 2013 is Glenelg prodigy Matthew Scharenberg. All Australian this year on the half back flank, can play forward or back allready a good size and height, and made his league debut this year for Glenelg (and kicked a goal)

All class, all skill. I saw him win an under 18 s final last year when switched to chf in he last quarter and took multiple marks. I would have thought a monty first round selection

Also played under age baseball for australia (as a pitcher I think).
Yay for this post 12 months ago. What a waste of 12 months arguement and discussion

Well done TT and you had both Aish and Sharenberg in there. I wouldn't mind either one.

Just having a look through all the players who have nominated for the draft this year... do delisted players automatically end up on the list? All of the Dog's delistings are on there as well as Nick's brother Ed, fresh from a big season on Big Brother.
