Re: 2020 Player movement
Gresham is one of their best inside mids.
If we pick up Lonie and Higgins replaces him at the Saints, I'll feel a little crook.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

St Kilda apparently strongly denied any interest in Higgins for what it's worth (probably not much).

Yep, you can see that happening. Saints get an upgrade and we get a player seen as surplus at saints.
I will never see #16 the same!!

He spent his last few games at Collingwood on the HFF but it's not his strength. He's a decent wingman, or nothing IMO.

GWS makes as much sense as any club as a Cameron replacement.
If NSW doesn't work out for Jesse there's still Queensland and SA left.

Billing to wing/HF, Gresham as a quick mid.
That gives them Butler and Higgins, with Lonie out the door.

I'd rather trade for needs, noting we get JUH, Raak as a 194cm developing backman and Evam McPherson projects as a utility so he'll probably end up as a back pocket Duryea clone.

Pace, high energy, good disposal. Envious of that set up.

Re: 2020 Player movement
When I look at our fwd line it would be one of the worst dysfunctional in the league. Bruce is the only true fwd that would regularly play. For a good set up we are in very much need of a mihocek, Gunston or Breust type. Ideal replacements for Dickson. Guys like Dale, Greene, Lloyd and “Hannan” wouldn’t even be in the same sentence as those 3 I mentioned. We need a leading fwd, someone who is good at creating space, and someone who also takes a decent defender. Most importantly, these guys are better set shots than 99%of our list.
This would allow great mentoring for JUH
JUH running around in our current fwd line would feel like he’s on crack.
I will never see #16 the same!!

This is what Naughton and Bruce should be doing.
To me we need a crumbing small forward to take the scraps and hit the middle.

Why jealous? They won the same games as us for the H&A season and beat us in the final by 3 points.

I agree, however I’m in the minority that I’d like Naughton to go back. I 100% agree we need a crumbing fwd, and I reckon it will be Lonie....unfortunately.
I also wouldn’t put my house on Bruce or Naughton kicking a goal from 20 metres directly in front.
