Has anyone read Collision Low Crossers?

I am half-way through it at the moment. Might be just about the best sports book I have ever read. The access is impressive, the subject matter (the Rex Ryan New York Jets) compelling and the writer doesn't try to kill you with lingo.

    It is great.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

    Is it about NFL Mike?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I had a NFL mate tell me about this a couple of weeks back. He mentioned that it is a very confronting book

MJP- thank you for the recommendation. About 2/3rds of the way through this book and cannot put it down.

Yep picked it up as well and am loving it, another author to put on the favourite's pile. Cheers MJP

Just finished listening to this book, absolutely brilliant, definitely in the conversation of best sports books I've ever read, intense, intimate and amazing insight, like he's an anthropologist of coaches (as well as players to a certain extent), but one that is very reflective of himself as well as those he was in the midst of.
