Does Anyone Else Remember the original 'Bert Is Evil' website?

This was first on the web in 1998 and had something of a cult following and participation. I was trying to explain the site to the Mrs, and she thought my last shred of mental sense I had left was gone. The site which has a few different places now, but it is a joke-cum-meme idea showing and finally proving that Bert from Sesame Street is evil with photo evidence to prove it. Anyone else remember it in its original site?

If I correctly altavista wad the best search engine to find it. One of the photos was off Bert taking a horrified Ernie to a strip club.
